Twilight.

Well, I just finished reading the fantastic first novel by Stephenie Meyer. Everything became so vivid again;; it was wonderful! I basically only skipped the first few chapters where Bella has just arrived at Forks and stuff. I immediately wanted to skip to the parts where Edward has saved her life from the van and then that night at Port Angeles. After the van incident, I basically read the whole book page-for-page (with the exception of the party at La Push where Jacob explains the legends and stuff;; I didn't want to read her flirting with Jacob lol.) So, yes. I'm going to skim through New Moon soon. Geez. Call me crazy, but I'm going to read the full part where Edward leaves Bella. I know I said that it would be too painful but. . .that was what New Moon was all about really. Bella's pain. And then, all that pain would soon be made up for near the end; where Bella and Edward are reunited. I'm not sure I will read all of New Moon though. But, then again, maybe I will. *shrugs*

Anyways, so as I was reading Twilight, I started thinking of the trailers and comparing some of the quotes and things I saw to the book. They changed some of the stuff, yes. I'm sad though, because of that. But, I WILL have faith in Catherine Hardwick and Stephenie Meyer. Don't even THINK I hesitate when it comes to the issue of casting.

Robert Pattinson: Every time I see him, my heart flutters! He is the PERFECT Edward Cullen. He has the look, the personality, and ugh, EVERYTHING ABOUT HIM IS EDWARD, EDWARD, EDWARD! Haha, it's like there is a neon flashing sign above his head saying "I'm secretly Edward Cullen."

Kristen Stewart: Personally, I think she is pretty much my vision of Bella. She just has that. . .slender look and a bit of clumsiness in her [no offense Kristen :)] So anyways, I saw her in Speak, another book that was turned into a movie and she was...FANTASTIC. You should really watch her. I thought the movie turned out great. If you've ever read Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson, you'll know exactly why Kristen Stewart was perfect in the movie version.

Taylor Lautner: Honestly, I really didn't even think of him when I thought of who would play Jacob Black. But he DOES kinda look like my vision of Jacob. If they make the other books into films, I'm not sure what they'll do since Jacob grows, grows, grows! But, as of now, I think Taylor is going to be a pretty good Jacob.

Billy Burke: Eh, I guess he kinda fits my vision of Charlie. Not sure though. I haven't seen many pictures of him. I'll get back to you on that :)

Peter Facinelli: In that family picture of all the Cullens together. . .OME. He sooo looks like Dr. Carlisle Cullen (in MY eyes, mind you.) He has the blonde hair, the perfect body. Wow oh wow. As with R-Pattz, he just screams Carlisle Cullen!

Elizabeth Reaser: Again, from the family picture, she looks like an Esme Cullen. Honestly, I pictured Esme way different, but I guess when they make a movie, it's a win-lose situation haha.

Nikki Reed: Ever since I saw her in Thirteen, I knew she was gorgeous. In that movie though, she was a brunette. . .but seeing her go blonde just makes her the PERFECT Rosalie Cullen. She's absolutely beautiful. And she just looks like she has the fierceness of Rosalie in Twilight.

Ashley Greene: Honestly, as with Esme, I pictured Alice differently. Watching her in interviews and in the trailers, I just KNOW she will be a good Alice though :) My only problem is...as I was reading Breaking Dawn, it said that Alice had spiky black hair...but in the movie she has brown hair. Did Alice change her haircolor before Breaking Dawn or am I just insane lol?

Jackson Rathbone: Okay, out of all the casting, I think the actor they chose for Jasper was the most different from my own vision (along with Laurent, but I'll get to him later.) I pictured Jasper as a bit bigger and more muscular and I pictured him blonde, with a ponytail. Well, damn it, my vision of Jasper in the book was James in the movie! I couldn't believe it. But. . .after I saw the casting and read Breaking Dawn, I couldn't stop visualizing Jackson Rathbone. I don't know, but I guess his look had an effect on me lol.

Kellan Lutz: Two words--PERFECT EMMETT. He has the big body, the muscles, the face. Holy guacamole, it's like someone just zapped him out of the book for the movie (as they MUST'VE done with Robert Pattinson!) As Stephenie said, I know that Emmett's role is very minor, but the look he gives off, just is sooooo Emmett!

Cam Gigandet: I pictured James as a tall figure with black sleek hair. Okay, so I was wrong. Shoot me haha. Anyways, seeing him in that first released scene at the ballet studio...he made my heart quiver. He IS James. *tries to breathe evenly* It's just so scary at how...cynical he acts, JUST LIKE JAMES. And, no, he's not scary at how good he acts as with Rob Pattz. Cam is just...James. That's all I can say. He is James and there's no doubt about it.

Edi Gathegi: Alright. As I said before when I was talking about Jackson, this guy they cast as Laurent is totally totally TOTALLY different from what I picture as Laurent. I don't even know how to explain how I see Laurent when I'm reading. It's just an image I see. I can't explain. But I know for sure, Edi is nothing I expected. And, NO, I am NOT being racist. I could care less whether he is black or not. I'm just saying my vision was different.

Rachelle Lafevre: She's gorgeous and has the flaming red hair. That is Victoria. The revenge-seeking partner of James. And this actress is perfect.

So, in my opinion, the casting was fantastic. I agree with everyone they cast.

Sorry for my rambling!

They guy they picked for Emmet is really hot. At first I didn't like Alice, but after seeing her aloof look in the Twilight poster, I'm starting to think she can pull it off. I like the kid the picked for Jacob, he's just so cute!
