Hey everyone!
Well, today is the 5-month mark from when I first started reading the Twilight Saga! Today, five months ago, I was first introduced to Edward and Bella and the rest of the lovely Cullens! It was on April 19th (my birthday) that I saw the Twilight series at a Waldenbooks Store and figured I would try it out. I'd seen different people with these huge, bulky books and I doubted myself (which is why I never read it.) I really didn't know what it was about, but I read the back of Twilight and figured it sounded interesting. On the ride home from the mall, I began reading Twilight and WAS INSTANTLY HOOKED! The character of Bella sounded like me: clumsy, stubborn, shy. And then...she described EDWARD and I was about to faint! I couldn't put the book down! I stayed up all night reading it and finished it that Sunday morning. It. was. MAGNIFICENT. I immediately regretted not buying New Moon and Eclipse that same day. I had to wait about TWO WEEKS before I read New Moon. And then it was about THREE weeks after that I had to wait to read Eclipse. I honestly had never enjoyed reading long books before. I liked sticking to nice, 300 max pages books. But the Twilight Series changed that very quickly. If I had to read a 500 page book, it would've probably taken me two weeks! Especially if I wasn't interested in the topic. But even if I was, I didn't like giving up all my time to read a book. But Edward and Bella's love story caught me and I kept itching for more! And then, on August 1st at 11:50pm, my mom (another fellow Twilighter!) and I drove to Walmart to get Breaking Dawn at midnight! It was hard not starting to read right then and there and especially when I got home. But I knew I needed my rest and I waited until the NORMAL morning. I WOULD'VE finished on August 2nd, but my grandmother had come to visit and my cousins were over, so I had to wait until early Sunday morning to finish. Either way: BREAKING DAWN WAS FANTASTIC!!
And, so, this is how I fell in love with Twilight :)
*edit: Sorry! I've been so confused & tired lately. I thought TODAY was September 19th! My bad. Pretend this post was posted yesterday lol.

I know I've been totally confused with the dates to. I have no time to check what date it is, much less remember the date.
I could totally relate to your story. Though I don't know how you survived 2 weeks before reading New Moon and 3 weeks before reading Eclipse.
I for one would not have lived.
